Hi, I have read and re-read the Stickies but i still have a couple of questions. I recently moved into a new house that had a sky box that was not being used by the people in the house, i took out the sky card, got the BBC Channels, and ITV channels, (RTE Channels with a splitter) E4. BBC1 London is on 101.

I cant seem to get Channel 4, Film Four, or any of the Music Channels that are free to air.

Im not to bothered with any of the FTV Channels. Wouldnt mind SKY3. If i put the expired Irish Card in, will i recieve the other channels?

You need an expired UK sub card or FTV card to receive C4 on EPG. You can tune it in via 'other channels' (see stickies). Putting the Irish card back in the box will give the the Irish EPG and you won't get ITV or most of the BBCs on the EPG (RTE/TV3/TG4 will not be viewable either).

If you can't receive Channel 4 or Film4 after tuning them in via the 'other channels' menu you will probably need to have your dish realigned.

Cheers for the reply. Thats gonna be a bit of a pain in the butt. I dont know anything about realigning Dishes. Film Four was one i was after. What about the music channels?

As previously suggested if you cannot receive Film4 and the free music channels then either the box is faulty or in my opinion the dish isnt fully aligned.

But i had the Music channels working last week. Could the weather have moved the dish over the weekend?

I took a look at the dish/aerial over the weekend, its not really a dish more like -->- that kind of thing.

I can get Fizz music channel but not chart and still no film four. It says no sat signal being recieved. So i presume it is the Dish/Aerial.

Is it just a matter of adjusting it till i recieve the channels. I tried to move it Monday but it is fixed fairly solid to the wall.

Have a look at this site they are the upto date freqs.

    http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-28.2E-fta.php

These are all the channels you can pickup for free. If you don't pickup C4 via these freqs your dish is out of line.

I took down some of those frequencies. They seem different to the ones in the stickies. Ill try them tonight.

    Thanks Tom.
