Private knee surgery

My dad is waiting for knee surgery for the past year. He doesn't qualify for ntpf. as the hospital lost his notes and he has only gone on the list. He is getting worse day by day so can anyone tell me how I could go about getting the operation done privately and how much it would cost. Also, would the fee cover if any…
