But seriously (in as seriousy as ye guys can get in here)... If you meet the perfect girl, funny, intellegient, quick, gorgeous. but there is no chance of getting together with her.
Are you happy that you have had all these feelings for her or would you resent her every time you see her and she gives you that lovin feelin.

Yes you would what togster? Your post is about as understandable as a fast talking chinaman. The question asked in the OP is "Are you happy to have fallen in love?"
Are you answering "I would" to this? If you are it makes no sense. Have you fallen off your horse lately?

I was thinking the same myself when I first read it.

I assume the OP meant that if she's fast, then she ain't gonna be too 'big'.

I'll move you to PI in a minnit young whippersnapper..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭samhail

ah dont bother with PI, can just lock it instead.

i was just wondering whether people would hold a grudge cos they didnt get what they want, espicially when they would see the possible OH each day. or would they be happy that those feels were had.

but why can't you? have you asked already? or jsut too chickened?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭samhail

ah yeah i asked alright. she is with someone, sounds longterm.
i told her that i still would have a little crush on her though i wouldnt let her know :)

    but thats PI-kinda stuff.

i see her every day, and she is great. its just the emotions that she brings up in me that some would resent her for.

Ah right. In that case...happened to me a few years back with a girl I work with. Fell pretty hard for her. We got on great. People even remarked that we should get together. Asked her to meet up a few times but she didn't seem enthusiastic so I had to let it go. It was hard for a while but I knew I'd done all I could and because she was a genuinely classy girl I couldn't bear a grudge.

It depends on those two things I think; did you do something to indicate how you felt? If not you will resent the situation (really, you are resenting yourself for being a bit of a chicken). If yes, then was she classy about it or freaked out? Hard to just get on with things if she's more the latter than the former because it feels like there's bad blood.
