    Hi,

...I'm usually anti package holidays...but have been persuaded to possibly go on one in April.
The thing is...I'm clueless about where to go and which places are best to book through!
We are looking for somewhere that will be hot in April.

What places should I be looking at?
We are thinking somewhere near a lively city, but not necessarily in it.

I know I'm being quite vague...but any suggestions?

We are looking into package holidays for the cheapness of them really...
We obviously want somewhere quite lively...but not full of 18 yr olds either! We are all in our mid 20's.

Is Barcellona hot in April? Somewhere possibly near a city like Barcelona, as opposed to somewhere like Tenerife might suit us better.

    my advice:

book last minute.. go into a travel agents,2/3 weeks before you want to go, look at the special last min deals they have on offer, go home, look up reviews of the apartments/hotels (holidaywatchdog.com) and make your decision from there. TBH all the the apartments will havebad reviews - you cant please everyone.

ive been to playa del ingles. its a no no!! a definite no no. unless going in a group where ye'l be painting the town red 24/7.

puerto rico is lovely. ideal for everyone. only downfall; its hilly!

fuertaventura is BORING. avoid like a plague.
