Brake Pads Wearing Out 'At An Angle" ...Problem?

    Wife has a 2008 Seat Altea XL 1.4 petrol with about 10k km up and I notice that both left and right front brake pads (or at least the visible outers) are wearing diagonally / at an angle .I would have thought they should be wearing flat / parallel with the brake disc.Any body know if this is a problem .Braking performance is quite uninspiring ...

    Yea they should wear 'flat' against the discs, are you sure its not the chanfer on the pad you might be looking at?
