    hey guys i have a pic here of my desktop, see in the pi:

    between the battery status, and the wireless signal strength icon.

    i want to disable them, they run at startup, i dont want or need them running at all.

    Delete them from the panel. Try secondary clicking and choosing 'delete' or 'remove' or similar.

    Then open System Preferences --> Accounts --> click user name --> Login Items and untick what you don't want/need. Hopefully that'll clear things up.

    Also, to remove them from the menu bar hold Command, click and drag them out.
