Don't waste your €12.80, worst film I've seen in years.

that movie was that bad that they would have to pay me the £12.80 just to watch it again. Thanks for the info JP

Worst film ever made - buy at your own peril. You'll watch it once and then flush it

These "worst film ever" comments are so daft. Christ, get some perspective people!

I didn't think it was that funny either.. but it's passable enough!

You can't even comment with "worst film ever" when films like Epic Movie and Disaster Movie are still being released in ever-increasing popularity and regularity, and also Uwe Boll is still making movies - case closed!

OK, not as bad as Disaster Movie and Epic Movie. They should put that on the poster. :D

The first 10 minutes were great. It went waaay downhill from there.

They can't. I think Uwe Boll has trademarked that comment , and is using it on "postal". (It's wrong, mind you)

The film is slightly above 'meh', but possibly worth €12.80 to see Tom Cruises finest performance. ever.

Steady on there buddy, I was trying to get my point across that this dvd would be better used as the prop for a rickety table than as a source of entertainment. Clearly there are worst films out there but the expectation around this one, considering the cast, will leave you cursing your eyes and ears at the end of it for having put you through an hour and a half of such muck. While probably not the absolute worst movie ever made by man, it certainly doesn't merit a purchase and is therefore not a bargain

    Nonsense..

If it's a good movie or not is irregardless of whether it's a bargain, it's a good price for it. The price quoted in the original post is cheaper than it is on TheHut, SendIt and Play (and countless others I'd imagine).

There are plenty of fans of this movie, not to mention that it was well recieved by critics: http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/tropicthunder

I've posted a Bargain Alert for 'Alien Vs Predator' in the past.. one of the only films I switched off half-way through. Opinions on movies is subjective.. it's a bargain price regardless or if you liked it or not! ;)

    Indeed.

A huge amount of people seem to readily confuse the term "In my opinion..." with the term "The following statement is absolute fact...".

    Have you seen said movie?

Yeah, I heard this was bad but gave it a chance and watched it anyway, passable is a fair comment, but there are much funnier movies out there.

I have indeed seen said movie, thanks for asking.

It's an hour and a half of my life that I'm never getting back, and with the exception of the Tom Cruise scenes which I mentioned earlier, I would never have reason to watch it again, but, out of the five of us who watched it together in the cinema, there were two who would, and would be very pleased to find it advertised at a low price.

This is the reason why I cant understand someone criticising a bargain alert simply because they personally don't have use for it.

There are hundreds of threads here advertising what I believe to be terrible movies, ugly shoes, bad console games, and frightful clothing. Just because I wont be using them doesn't mean nobody will, so I let them pass without pointlessly critiquing them.

    Thats all I was saying.

I thought it was very funny, better than some hyped up "comedy" movies of the last few years such as Knocked Up. Well worth a purchase at 12.80.
