    They done it on top gear aswell when they were driving to the north pole.

    Saw that on Top Gear when they drove to the North pole. All they're doing is remounting the tyre onto the rim. It's a different can you need, one filled with goo, to repair a puncture.

    Used to use this trick to mount race tyres to mini rims, only to be used for mounting the tyre on the rim, not for inflating the tyres

    Had a gander on youtube, plenty of impressive vids of people doing it successfully.

    More entertainingly though, there are clips of people attempting it and it going wrong.:)

    Jaysus, he got a face full of fire there. Nothing like watching some one attempt something when you know it's going to go wrong lol:D
