    ok i'm on the pill(mercilon) for the last 6mths, my last period was several days late and was extremely light/short(barely lasted 3days) and was just....different if ya get my meaning!trying not to give TMI here!up til this my period has always been exactly 3days into my break and lasts for 5/6 days.
    anywho my next one isn't due til early feb but i'm having twinging pains in my stomach,tender boobs etc.....should i do a test or am i being overly-paranoid?

    Do a test, they are cheap enough and it wil stop the mental and emotional roller coaster.
    Don't worry about it, find out and then worry about the result if you need to.

    Do a test, but it usually takes about 6 months for your body to get used to a pill. It could be just regulating now. A light 3 day period is generally more common on the pill than a heavy 5/6 day one.

    Agree with other posters - go find out now.

    Doing the test won't make you pregnant if you're not already. But carrying something like that around in your head for weeks is not necessary.

    Easy advice to give and perhaps difficult to take I know. But do yourself a favour and avoid a prolonged mental hardship. Good luck !
