wow quite the fall from grace for peel - lions to not being included in national squad?!

his move to sale may have hurt him - but his replacement is the only man in the squad who plays outside wales ? so probably not a ''punishment'' for playing elsewhere

though he hasn't played that much for sale (they seem to pick wigglesworth more?) and when i've seen him he wasn't bad but not his sparkling best

not a horrendous call but harsh for a man with such experience - probably rules him out of a 2nd lions tour then

In fairness Cooper is playing outstanding, Philips is finding his feet and Peel isnt even Sales 1st choice SH (bizarre i know but thats how they see it)

It's crazy that Sale don't play Peel as first choice 9. Wigglesworth may be England SH come the 6N but he's an inferior player.

    Leinster should try sign Peel!

    Jaysus, that'd be lovely.

That'd be great, no use having such a talented scrumhalf on the bench at Sale.
