    good site - but the competitions normally are fee paying ones (the people you'll be competing against are probably international advanced amateurs/professionals too) - what's a 10 dollar entry fee if you think you can win the 25,000 dollar prize right? ;)

    I remember seeing annabel williams has one on her site but you have to pay to enter.

    Irish times gallery competition - see every monday's Irish times

    weekly competition - a new theme every week. no major prizes but it is weekly and you could consider it a challenge rather than a competition.

    nice if you actually get published too.

    Ooops - It had been running to the end of year :confused: I haven't had the Gallery supplement in a couple of weeks. It was a good competition when running - you could use it as a weekly challenge. Pity.

    I know they have got rid of the gallery supplement. It is in todays Irish Times but it is the last week of the supplement. I entered that competition didn't win :( was runner up twice though:)
