Bank transfer to paypal account - average length to clear?

    Hi, I know paypal say 2-4 days to clear but I transfered money from my Bank A/C on the 15th and it's the 19th now and no sign of it. I've sent Paypal an email which probably won't get answered for another week or two :mad:

    What are you experiences with waiting times ?

    Am I being silly and counting the weekend in them 2-4 days ? Are they business days only ?

    It's working days only, and it can take up to 5 days to transfer money from one bank to another, which is what's happening in this case. Don't expect it there before Thursday.

    I posted this thread, went to town , came back and the money had transfered....

    Banks update things at close of business each day, so if it was going to happen today, it would be around 5-6PM that you'd see it, which it apparently did.

    I sent €50 to my PayPal account using AIB internet banking. I used the Bank code, account number and transfer ID provided by PayPal in their "Top Up Account" section. I sent the money on Wednesday 8th April and it still hasn't arrived. Counting the long easter weekend and that I sent it late on the Wednesday, this is business day 6 with no sign of it. Has anyone else had to wait this long? Should I send them an email?
