AA no longer provide Car Inspection service - who to use?

    Hi,

    I have put a deposit down on a '06 Accord up north over the weekend and want to get a comprehensive inspection carried out. I rang the AA an hour ago and they said they no longer provide this service (despite their website saying otherwise) and that I should contact a company called DEKRA .

    Turns out that DEKRA's services don't extend to Northern Ireland so I'm blocked here also.

    Can someone recommend a company that will carry our a data/HPI check as well as a comprehensive car check?

    I've used the RAC to do it in London recently, very good service and detailed report. Costs about 190 sterling I think.
