Why in the name of all things that are holy, would you happily watch a Stephen Segal movie & then act surprised it was a pile of feit wibbly cr*p? Actually, that question applies just applying the first half of it.

What a shame. I used to be a massive Steven Seagal fan.

But realistically, Steven Seagal sold out a long time ago.
(Although I kinda liked Belly Of The Beast).

I actually quite like that tagline. Very 80's.

All his movies from 2005 or so onwards are absolute straight to video tripe. Me and my friends make a point of renting them for a good laugh, you have to admit they're very entertaining, though not in the way intended. In the last one I saw, he managed to shoot down a Hind Helicopter with a pistol. I haven't laughed so heartily in ages, and I've seen quite a few comedy movies since.

gotta say we also make a point of renting his flicks for comic relief, so much so that my mate owed some thing like 20 lids on three different rentals but they were all "renegade justice", we just cant bare to let it go!!

My fav film with Steve in it is Executive decision, and Steven Seagal hasnt made a good movie since Under siege and that was only good because your one got her baps out.

Cockpuncher was a good laugh though :D

lol yeah, helping the rest of the spec ops get onto the plane mid flight safely due to some mishap with the pressure.

    Very surprising and funny :D

You have to admire the man. He clearly does not give a crap how terrible the movies are that he acts in. I find that it's a case of so bad it's good with Seagal's movies during the last decade. Mindless, Inane, karate- chopping escapism. I look forward to this one:D

Was that the one where he was a leather jacket wearing archaeoligist and also happened to wear a leather dressing gown to bed? I cried laughing at that movie. His films the past few years have been dreadful ****e - he got so fat at one stage, that the fighting scenes were simply close ups of his "vinegar stroke" face, or shots of his leg just kicking some fella.

A great story about steven seagal thats quoted on some sites is that he was shooting a movie years ago, but the plot (trying to be complex ) called for his character to have autism. When they were discussing how he would actually portray this emotionally in the movie, Seagal simply said "I'll wear a hat". :D

Actually, I just found a link that had me in convulsions of teary laughter the first time I ever looked through it. Yes ladies & gentlemen, Steven Seagal has his own energy drink called "Lightning Bolt". Have a read through the links on the site for some quality amusement :D

    http://www.lightningdrink.com/

    Some choice quotes:
Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt energy drinks are as unique as the man who created it. It has pioneered the way for nutritional, all natural energy drinks and emerged as many "firsts"
The name Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt was an inevitable afterthought. When Steven Seagal finished creating a drink that holds untold natural power, there was only one equivalent in nature - The Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt. Both mysterious and powerful, it's a symbol of the untold energy the earth has to offer- Such is Steven Seagals Lightning Bolt energy drink.
