    Hi,

Im just wondering is the only way to study medicine once you have completed a dentistry degree to apply for postgrad med? Is there any other way to do it quicker since i would imagine there would be an overlap in training?

You can of course apply to undergrad courses too, but yes, you would have to do another degree. That said, there would be several areas of the course you would have already covered (biochemistry, microbiology, head+ neck anatomy etc), so you might be exempted from these, or you could enter the course at an advanced level (eg go straight into 2nd year). Your best bet would be to contact individual medical schools with a list of the courses you have done for your dentistry degree and ask what your options are.

Knew a guy who did this so he could do max-fax.
That's some serious dedication- atleast 10 years of college seemingly. :)
Dunno exactly his situation but i'd say he probably only had to do about 4 years of med after the dent degree.
