    Hey,
Was hoping to get some help for this. I have gmail settings set to play a sound when an incoming chat arrives, but it hasn't been working. Can't seem to figure it out. I've tried load up other flash windows on other sites and the sound works fine.

    Any help appreciated

Are you using windows or linux?

    There's a known problem with Ubuntu/FireFox/GMail sounds...

Did you try installing the latest Flash from the adobe site?

Also, you could try clearing the cache... Might do the trick if you haven't tried it already!

    Are you using Firefox 2/3?

Have you got any addons installed, like the GMail Notifier, Flashblock etc
