    Bad to Worse for Hachem
Joe Hachem's stack is quickly heading south. He bet 10,000 on a flop of J 9 4 and decided to gamble after the other player moved all in for 42,700. Hachem made the call on a draw, 79 , and was up against top pair, AJ . The turn was no help for Hachem, and neither was the river . He doubled his opponent and finds himself with just 19,500 remaining chips.

lol.. i hate that whiny self absorbed dik

Chris Dowling made it through day 1 in Deauville, although pokerstars blogs description should make him very popular with the ameican players

    Christopher Dowling Iran 12,400

Derek Murry busted QQ into KK in level six I think, huge value was his opinion of the tournament

Halibut now chippy with 27 left in Oz - knocking them out for fun according to pokernews.

Chris Dowling still in. Francis mcCormack gone. Chris starts back today. Has 12.4k in chips . Avg stack is 23k. Lost 16k on 3rd last hand of day 1 when all in with AA against 77

    It's Snowing Down Under

Dave Callaghan was crippled and all in with {5-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{7-Spades}. He was up against Nathan Snow's {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

The board of {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{A-Spades}{6-Diamonds} gave Snow a full house and eliminated Callaghan from the tournament. Snow is now up to a healthy 72,000 chips.

    How did carfax do?

I don't see him anywhere on the listings  It shows him ending day 1c with 48k... that's it, not on any of the 'busted' lists or current chip counts. :(

Any of irish crew still in?

    Hi all,

I busted late on Day 2 as did Vesty.

    Don't know if I will write a full trip report but to sum up it went something like this for me;

Day 1; Get drawn on a table with two pro's and the rest satellite winners (plus one first time player that bought in). Kept away from pro's all day, steadily built chips up before twice getting rivered by newbie to my left (I can only presume I was rivered as I folded 2nd nut straight once [river made a higher straight for her but I didn't call so can't say for sure] and another decent hand that I can't really remember).......After playing for 10/11 hours finally got my double up from 24,000 up to 48,000. Young Aussie joined the table, gave me lots of information during the hand and in a not so pleasant manner gave me most of his chips.

Day 2; Re-draw for seats. After one hour at the table I move up gears and start to dominate. Build my chips up to over 100,000 and then up to 140,000 by using a big chip advantage on my table before we break. Get moved to another table for two hands (play both of those hands and win one big pot before losing a big pot with, you guessed it the 2nd nut straight against a shortie (who also happened to be a cranky old Aussie).

Mid-way through day 2 and I get moved to the one table in the tournament that has a BIG stack in every single seat. I had been playing against mostly fairly weak players for a day and a half and now I was up against all good players. It was tough and I didn't adjust my game enough. Went out late on Day 2 (about 112th I think).

Would really recommend the Aussie Millions to anyone thinking of playing sats/ travelling out here for next year. There was just so much play in the structure. 90 minute clock on Day 1 and 120 minute clock thereafter. With 20,000 starting chips it just meant the best players got through, simple as. I am going to say it to the guys in the Merrion if I am talking to them that they should look into using the structure that they used here for the Irish Open.

    Cheers to all Stephen.

havent seen any results, but i presume that Annette is still going strong

once she gets chip stacked, its hard to knock her off the pedastel

certainly sounds like a great structure with lots of play, i will have to make it my business to have a go at this next year

    ul stevo
