We part named our new child after Lee Adama

My wife yesterday gave birth to our fourth child.
We have called the child Inara Lee

Inara (after Firefly/Serenity)
Lee (after Lee Adama of Battlestar Galactia)

Born ten weeks early, she is currently incubated.



We are Sci-fi nuts so all our kids have Sci-fi names. :pac:

They named me Jonathan, and then i grew up watching rugrats, and new I didnt like was i was going to become...

Its a lovely name, regardless of the origins. But, the origins are awesome too! Why Lee and not Bill Adama though??

As Overheal mentioned, Lee is a unisex name as her first name is Inara, it goes well with it too if she ever wanted to just use the first two.
Names of the other kids are Dakota (after Dakota Fanning, star of a few and up-coming sci-fi films), Logan (after Logans Run and Dark Angel) and Teyla (after Stargate Atlantis).

I also think Teyla is a lovely name. But then I generally sway away from boring-run-of-the-mill names. Fair play to you for being brave enough to name your children as such. I think I would imagine Inara to be female only, but Lee is definitley good for both.

Teyla and Inara are both my favorite though. God help me if I have kids and am stuck in a series as good as these!
