How to do Zakk Wyldes 'trill'

Lads i hear zakk at this alot but cant quite get it.

It sounds like a mix between a high pitch pick scrape and hammer ons and pull offs.

I heard it described as trill before but the explaination it gave on how to do it didnt work for me.

ANy ideas?

His earlier stuff is miles better than his newer material. I also find his acoustic playing is a lot more imaginative and musical than his "metal" writing.
