    Hi,

Was away for most of today, come back and Chorus is down. The time is on the box and when I turn it on it goes through init and then to menu. It is asking for me connection type, I left it at transponder, then another screen came up with loads of numbers and then it said Network name ? I can't get anything to work, any suggestions?

Plugged it out and turned it back on, working now although there's an awful amount of interference on every channel

it could be due to the bad weather we are having.

I think it was the weather alright, it went down completely at around 11.45 with the Irish channels the last to go, I was enjoying the snooker and the American Football at the time

Yeah I rang them in the end, my power supply is gone they have to ring me back tomorrow to let me know when they can drop out a new 1, they wouldn't let me collect 1 or just leave it somewhere to be collected.

Any idea how long it takes them to arrange a call out? And actually, does it cost anything?

it depends on how many callouts they have to do (normally a week or two)

don't be upset if they don't ring back tomorrow
if they don't ring by about 4 or 5 i suggest ringing them.

As far as I'm aware it dosent cost anything. (at least i never had to pay when they came out to repair something)

if you order a new service off them there is a installation charge.

Came home this evening and it was working again, must have reset itself, I'm not going to bother ringing them cause I reckon the power supply is on it's last legs anyway and I'll just wait for a new 1 off them
