Ok heres the story, im 22 slightly unfit and want to get into martial arts, ive been researching on the net and krav maga caught my eye immediatly, only thing is I want to do something that is ongoing and not just a 2 day intense course  Kenpo seems good but theres a lot, Im in ballsbridge so somewere close would be great. Some thing self defense based preferred(streetfighting etc) Kenpo is good but the course is 150 plus 25 per week. Im hoping to make something out of it and maybe do it pro in a few years. All help is appreciated!

    Thanks

Why do you want something street fight orientated?

Get into a sport based MA which will help you if you end up in the wrong situation at the wrong time.
Boxing, Kickboxing, Thai, MMA, TKD, Judo, wrestling, BJJ are all sport based which means you will become fitter, faster, healthier and more confident as a by product.
