Dunno if anyone has seen this already,

    http://www.the-impossible-project.com/beta/

    There's hope yet !
Its heavily tied in though with the polapremium/unsaleable/lomographic crowd though which is a bit of a dubious connection for anyone interested in anything affordable coming out of this. OTOH its also supported by Ilford, so it might just go somewhere.

    Aye, seen it!

We both agree on Lomography, but tbh, if they can advertise, promote and sell Polaroid film again, then I'm more than happy to let'em go for it! Ilford's involvment will hopefully mean it'll come to bear fruit.

    Come oooooooooooooon the T55! :D

I think that is not possible, because even if they open the factory, most of the Polaroid using artists won't buy a single paper for the first few months, they would be waiting for the papers to expire.. ;)

Yep, its only integral film as far as I can tell, which includes 600 and spectra and a couple of other smaller formats. It all depends on financing apparently though.

No, Lomography will stick it in the oven for a few hours and sell it as premium vintage expired polaroid film...

Lol, and there's the 12 apostles killing themselves to create new and improved. What they need is one line of production using really shoddy old gear in an unheated part of the factory with raw materials from China with zero qc so the product is randomly gimpy for a pittance.

It's a great initiative... Just curious if it will work out in the end... But then again, no Jinxing, YES WE CAN!
