Any application that can give immediate warning if your connection has dropped?

    As an online poker player I could do with knowing asap when my internet connection drops as i have a backup 3g one which I can turn on if my broadband is down, so I was just wondering if there was any app that could detect this in realtime (or quickly) and display a warning message?
