    hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a scanner which takes 24mm negatives. I got hubby the v*ho and its quite good for my amateur needs but lots of our pics are actually on 24 mm film, its much smaller strips and the scanner won't take it. Does anyone know of one which will, or can recommend somewhere I can have them all scanned onto a memory stick or something?? Thanks,
    F.

I'm sure Gunn's would be able to, if you were based in Dublin?

Do you have any neg holders in your scanner?

    Where abouts are you based?

What happens if you pop the 24mm negs into the 35mm holder?

basically the shots come up along with half the next on, just small and the colour isn't right. I'm sure that there is a scanner like the veho one that could do the same thing with these 24mm negatives. I'm based in Dublin so i'll give those guys in gunns a ring and see if they do it. It's just convenient if you can do it yourself when you have time.

I'm guessing they're APS right ? Are they still in the can ? Most places ought still be able to scan APS, afaik those fuji frontier machines can take them although I could be wrong. Some people here have recommended the camera exchange on georges street for high-res scans that didn't cost much more than normal crappy res scans.

Great. Its not actually aps though its like 35mm negatives but smaller. It would be from old cameras that took film with a little knob at each end. God I sound like a knob now. Anyway its old 10 years at least.

Actually its 110 film afaik and I've rung gunns its a pretty expensive route to take (lots of films) so i'd still be interested if anyone knew of a scanner which would take this type of negative.

Thanks for all the help so far
