Degraded raid

I just booted my pc which has 2*750Gb disks in RAID1 (software raid). It booted to a shell with a message that md0 doesn't exist. There was a lot of text which I didn't write down unfortunately but one of the options was to boot with the raid array degraded. So I thought maybe a disk had blown.

I rebooted to check the disk in the BIOS and they looked ok. Then it continued to boot into Ubuntu normally - no errors.
    $ cat /proc/mdstat
    Personalities : [linear] [multipath] [raid0] [raid1] [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [raid10]
    md2 : active raid1 sda3[0] sdb3[1]
          720852544 blocks [2/2] [UU]

    md1 : active raid1 sda2[0] sdb2[1]
          3903680 blocks [2/2] [UU]

    md0 : active raid1 sda1[0] sdb1[1]
          7815488 blocks [2/2] [UU]

    unused devices: <none>

All looks ok there. df shows the free space that I expected too.

Should I be worried? Any suggestions?

    [edit]md0 is / - 7.4gb
    md1 is swap - 4gb
    md2 is /home - balance

Did you check for loose cables?

I'd imagine it was a once off, maybe the sata controller wasnt ready or something.

I wouldnt be worried. If it happens again then i might get a bit more concerned.

It was a once off - cables are ok. If it happens again I'll look into it a bit more.
