You'll need ground coffee, make sure you get 'filter' or 'french press' grind, an espresso grind would be far too fine - you'll get it in most supermarkets but for high quality coffee check out the 2 stickys on the main page listing suppliers and shops. Any more questions, ask away.

Thank you for your reply, will have a look, do you buy yourself any particular brand?

    Thanks again.

No particular brand. I do buy a lot from hasbean.co.uk though.

Got a plunger for Christmas plus a pack of coffee from Mahers (Oliver Plunkett St in Cork).

Just opened the coffee and it's gorgeous. It says "Blend Six" on the pack. Must get some more when I'm in Cork again.

There is info on this thread about Mahers

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/archive/index.php/t-2055094622.html

They do some great coffees and far as I am aware they roast themselves.

Not sure if that email address is still valid but was going to contact them to see if they post stuff:) I also want to see if they have a website, I can't find one. If I find it I will post the info.

I have family living in Cork so if I am stuck I can get them to purchase and post, or hand deliver when visiting :D Least they could do for free B&B :D

I'm from Cork originally so get back there quite a bit. But my dad is coming to visit this week so will get him to bring a pack with him I think, cos this is so nice I'm gonna drink it very quickly
