Sky Digibox going into standby when I dont want it to!

    I have been recording films that are on late at night for a few years now using my current set up with no problems.

    The set up is this: digibox (Sky) feeding hrad disc recorder feeding LCD.

    Recently (the last few weeks) I watch my recorded film to find that after about 1 hour a message from the digibox comes up saying "going into standby, to cancell press back up". About 10 minutes later it is clear that the digibox has turned off. Of course I am in bed when this message is being displayed and only find out about it when it is too late!

    Any suggestions as to why this is suddenly happening and how to fix it???

    the software has updated to put the box into standby if it thinks it is idle and no one watching( part of the new environmentally aware sky propaganda) go to services then system setup then auto standby and switch it off . this should fix your problem
