I think you could be right about that I'll suss it out today on a reccie mission. Thanks for that.

    EDIT:
There is a place at the back of the "High Street" centre next to the Renault garage in Wilton. C.V.T. 021 4346110
Drove by there today will report back if successful. Just in case someone else is looking for a repair place in the future

Found another place too up by the airport. http://www.tvae.ie

MF Services repaired my music system a while back. Can’t remember what make it is but give em a ring first. They seemed good enough, they’re out near Wilton

Anyone know of a good repair shop apart from AV Service Centre?.

Any reason for not using them?
I was going to drop in an Amp next week....

I handed the amp into http://www.TVAE.ie today. Recommended by the guy in Wilton! The chap on the phone spent a bit of time going through the issue on the phone, checked if he had the correct service manual, etc. Was happy with what I heard. My amp is a very old so if it cannot be repaired I will not be that surprised.

No real issue with AV service centre, tried to use them in the past but with no repair success, thought I'd try someone else.

Sorry to hijack the thread but do you think these guys could do ps2 repairs as well? Or are there any repair shops that specialise in consoles? Cheers
