    howdy

am traveling to the USA on leisure soon and am planning on bringing my gadgets with me..
i have these in a strong protected pelican case 1450 , exterior dimensions

    16.00" x 13.00" x 6.87"
    (40.6 x 33 x 17.4 cm)

i have the usual gadgets, GPS units X2 spot satellite messenger, iridium satellite phone, mobile phone, and camera.... camcorder etc

will i be able to take all this on board on in the case? or will i have problems,
its not the sort of stuff that i would want to check in!

also will i have to take all items out of the case prior to going through the xray machine,

If you can fit it all in your carry on bag you'll be fine. The security guys will ask everyone to take the laptops out for scanning, but they will then still get confused looking at their monitors and just have a quick gander in it once you get through the metal detector. I'd tend to leave chargers in the hold baggage to to reduce the amount of cables in my bag a bit, unless I might be needing a charger for the laptop whilst sat around waiting in some airport half way, but the actual gadgets always come on the plane with me.

You won't have any problems taking that stuff on at all.

I've deleted a few posts from this thread. This forum is not the place to discuss the relative merits of new phone models etc.

Take that to the tech forums, please.
