XP SP3 killed my machine

I installed Windows XP Service Pack 3. When restarted, the PC froze for 20 minutes so I did a hard reboot. When I went back to boot into safe mode to check what happened, it just keeps rebooting. Booting into Last Known Good Configuration doesn't work either.

Is there any way to get past this or stop this auto reboot happening? I'm trying to avoid having to install XP again.

    Any help greatly welcomed.

    Thanks

Reapir install is prob your best option, could be your pc had a incompatible driver/software which screwed up the service pack install proccess

Thanks for the advice. I tried the Repair but I think it was too messed up at that stage and I ended up having to do a complete re-install.

    Thanks again.
