I always hear of people going to do a J1 and playing GAA with teams who set them up with jobs and houses. Just wondering can you do the same with soccer? Has anyone here done J1 GAA?

Bar you're on a scholarship through the FAI I don't think you can do it. As regards GAA you've to go through your club afaik. On the plus side I know a good few lads who've gotten free houses and jobs outta it. I'd say its who you know more than anything.
