As an opposite to where people travel. What is the longest you have ever spent in the one spot.
Anyone spend years or decades without leaving a county? Or know anyone who just doesn't move from there local area?

Or even a smaller location, I know when I was in college I would often spend a few weeks without leaving the campus (I lived on it)

I know a bloke (aged about 42) who has left Ireland just once (for a week as a trainee footballer with MUFC when he was 17), only travelled as far as the outer reaches of Leinster for the rest of his football career til he retired at age 30, and hasn't left Dublin7 since then.
He possibly wins this thread (but not a lot else).

Kinda hard for me not to venture out of my County. Live in Kilkenny, but Carlow border is about 1km away, and Wexford about 4km. Can't remember the last time I spent more than 2 days in KK without going to another County.

Haven't been off this Godforsaken island (NI is PART of the island remember) since 2005, and only three times since 1997 :(

Navan and galway to relatives 2-3 times a year each and otherwise I'm completely rooted to County Dublin.
