Student Tax Question

I'm a student, have a part time job and pay 1% tax. I'm thinking of getting a second job as I'm not getting as many hours anymore and I have rent, bills etc to pay.

Will I have to pay emergency tax on my second job or is there a way I can still only pay my 1%?

    Thanks

There's a threshold for non-taxable income. It varies depending on your circumstances.

    See http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/it/leaflets/it11.html#section9 for more info
