    It was set up by Cloud so we wouldn't go insane while Boards is down.

    AFAIK, it's owned by Boards.ie and its generally where people go when this website is down for maintenance to get their fix.

    originally twitter was meant to be like a one sentence my status of the day kind of thing.

    e.g. "Creamy Goodness is going to get **** faced after work today!".

    but since you can follow people on it, most reply to each other and end up having full blown chats on it.

    get IRC or MSN for that tbh.
