Flying to Milan, Linate or Malpensa?

Hey guys, I'll be heading to Milan in May but am not sure which airport to fly into. I'll be staying in the city centre itself and flying there with Aer Lingus.

Any advice on which airport is better to fly to i.e. in terms of getting to the city etc.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    WW

Linate is the one I always use. It seems to me like you get out of the airport quicker, but I may be imagining that.

Linate is way closer, Malpensa is a nicer airport but quite far out to the west of Milan.

It's bigger and more modern but I don't like it at all. Sometimes queueing can be a real nightmare there. Given the choice I'd pick Linate. It's closer to the city, quicker to get through, and there's always seems to be plenty of taxis and buses outside.
