Prayer Requests

I will post this in the sticky most days to remind people but I would like to ask people to say 3 prayers each day for the following:

    1. For an elimination of road deaths in Ireland.
    2. For an elimination of suicides in Ireland.
    3. For the conversion of sinners especially in relation to disrespect of the sabbath, morality and false gods such as money and pleasure.

In all 3 cases end each prayer with if it is God's will.

I would like to ask Catholics to say 1 Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for each of the above every day if possible. It should only take about 1 minute of your day each day.

Thanks, I hope that some on here will pray for these each day. :)

Prayers don't work I am afraid...and perhaps one might be better spending their time on preventative and real measures to combat suicide and road deaths.

    Prove that prayers don't work?

    Hi Pamela,

I realise that these issues may be close to your heart, but we actually have a sticky up the top of the forum specifically for this.

If people want to revisit the prayer debate again, please do it in another thread.

    Cheers
