South Carolina seeks to outlaw profanity

The SC Senate is seeking to outlaw profanity.According to the bill, it will be illegal to "publish orally or in writing, exhibit, or otherwise make available material containing words, language, or actions of a profane, vulgar, lewd, lascivious, or indecent nature"

Committing this "crime" will lead to a $5000 fine or 5 years in prison.

What do yas think?

TBH I think those bunch of ****s in the senate should go suck a big donkey ****. Who the **** do they think they ****ing are trying to ****ing outlaw FREE speech.

I was on a forum before, an English forum with about 90% or more of them being American, the word "hell" was considered a swear word and you could be banned for using it. Anyway, the law doesnt even try to enforce against conversational profanity if I've read it right. But the fact they want to try and censor Free Speech (Oral Publication as they try and put it) is unconstitutional.
