    hi there

I stayed in the 5 star Hesperia in Puerto calero last year. Puerto Calero is about a 10 min drive from puerto del carmen and is a quieter, more upmarket place to stay. It has a marina which you can walk along a coastal path to from the hotel. You can drive up to the hotel entrance which has no steps leading up to it. Within the hotel there are some steps, one or two but there are lifts for anything more than that. You can access the pool area and avoid steps by getting the lift to the breakfast area and going out from there. There are a couple of pools, one has about 2 steps into it, theres a kids pool you can walk into and theres a smaller pool you climb into - no steps or ladder.

We booked in for a week from last April, leaving on the May bank holiday weekend so we got the weather of peak season without the expense, the hotel wasnt full by any means although we noted on our last morning that it was filling up a lot...so the week just before the bank holiday is a good week to go.

    Hope that helps!

I have only passed here, but I think the Los Hisbiscos has a pool that is all one level and also no steps to entrance of hotel. Its in Puerto Del Carmen new town

    Hi All,

I just want to ask anyone thats been to the Los Hibiscos Apartments

    1) Does the swinning pool have a walkin area and not only ladders ? We are going with people that cant go up and down ladders, and the walk in pool would be great

    2) are there many steps to get into the place.. also is it on any mad hills

    Thanks.

    Threads merged.

Never: don't start up a second thread for what is essentially the same query. My advice is to get on to a good travel agent and let them do the research for you. Alternatively, I find you can get good local advice on the Tripadvisor forums: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowForum-g662290-i11495-Puerto_Del_Carmen_Lanzarote_Canary_Islands.html
