Total punctuation failure seems more likely... :D

Anyway what is the probability of some sort of mad max style collapse of society? Fairly low. The chance of US debt default is put at 6% but debt default is a long way from complete society collapse.

If society did collapse could you stockpile enough food to save yourself? Unlikely you eat about a ton of food a year and its hard to have that much food lying around.

What did the citizens of the USSR do when it collapsed? There is an interesting piece here on how people adapted to the collapse of the USSR. Basically you need a support network of friends and family and the ability to provide goods/services that people are willing to trade.

So no I do not stockpile food for societal collapse. I do have a crate of beans, tuna and a big bag of white rice in case of a short term food supply problem. The sort a big snow storm could cause. Stick the rice in the freezer for a day to kill off worms eggs that might ruin it. I can fish and hunt rabbits but mainly because it is fun. I don't have the sort of skills that people will trade for in the event of a USSR style problem if you do that is good.
