    Hi ,Im looking for dvd/video recorder that you can record your old tapes onto dvd from 1 machine .I looking to spend as little as possible but anywhere ive looked i end up unsure if it will do what i need .Any one any ideas ,tried power city and they wanted 250 euro ,i was hoping if possible to stay under the 100.Thanks

    Assuming you have a DVD drive in your PC your cheapest option is a USB video capture lead and free software like this.

    I dont have dvd drive as this is old computer but will need dvd player anyway ,thanks

    You'll be hard pressed to stay under €100 ... This is the one in Argos for €280

    And, as expected, it's much cheaper in the UK....
