Saw those lights in Lidl, when I was looking for the graphics tablet.
Was thinking of getting smaller LEDs, but using loads of them.

    Glad to be of help!

My eldest, a sparks, works in lighting manufacture, installation and commissoning and has promised to make me some LED based lamps of differing temperatures.

I would suggest putting the paper also to the sides to diffuse and soften the light.

Try a bit of net curtain and then some muslin cloth to see the different effect.
