AFter waiting for over a month thre was no sign of the tax disc for my wife's car.
She rang the Motor Tax people and they claimed they sent it out, therefore it must be lost in the post. So she's had to go thru hassle to try and get another one sent.
During the same time, she had sent them the Log book for a new car.
And guess what, it turns out that too has been "lost in the post".
We receive all our other post no problem so it just seems uncany that 2 things allegedly sent by the Motor Tax folks BOTH get lost in the post.
    WTF?
Muppetry at work here or what?

Did you buy privately or off a dealer or brand new?

I would generally allow 4-6 weeks for a tax book to come. Maybe more maybe less.
