home cinema audio help

    hi building my home at the moment want to have speakers in the celling of each room controlled from one central computer also have tv in each room.

    here what im thinking i have a pc down stairs with its normal key board and monitor. also up stairs i have a touch screen monitor so i can controle the pc from there can i put in 2 or 3 sound cards into the pc and will thay work. so i can conect say the bedrooms to one sound card and the tv room to the second card... reasion being i want to turn off the sound going to the bedrooms im im in the tv room and the opsit way round... also is the soft ware that will show the 2 soundcards and let me switch the volume down on one and up on the other......

    and this could be sound card 2 or ise there a program that will controle them bout in the one screen thanks

    Well you could probably just open the two sound cards at once rather than having one program that displays the both, if that's what you mean.
