Skate 2 Demo

I'm 32 And I feel like a kid again, as I can’t wait to get home and DL the demo for Skate 2.

Any one got it DL’ed yet. Views/reviews?

hi,

i havent downloaded this yet but i think i will when i get home. i do love staking games. have been playing Tony Hawk games for years and i tried the demo of Skate 1 and it was totally different for me. enjoyable though. will have to give it a go.

Not in the PSN store yet AFAIK, checked a while ago. Should update around 4-5 today I think. For now, I'm downloading the first demo;D

I too was a Tony Hawks fan and played them to death.

I then got Skate last year and hated it at first. But then once I got over the huge learning curve and retrained my brain. I have found it one one the best games I've played.

And still play to this day. As I love the game, and have been itching for Skate2.

Trust me give it some time and learn the game, once you get the basics, the rewards are huge.

I'm just hoping they have not gone too Tony Hawks where you're able to grind for 20 minutes!!!!! :mad: As the realizm it what makes the game.

LOL I was the same!! I thought it was a bit too realistic at first when I rented it. I kinda miss it now:o

I'm downloading now.

I had to set up a UK accound, as demo realsed there. One set up go into store and download.

Happy days.

And yes, I was that desperate!!

Oh and its a whopping 1.7Gig

It's in the US Store alright, I downloaded it there last night, had a quick play of it this morning. 'tis great.

Not going to be in the Irish store for some reason. Well that is the rumour any way.

But as a few have done so far, just set up either UK or US account.

Demo first impressions:
Very annoying that there is a 5 minute limit on game play, unless you do the tasks and then you get a bonus few minutes. Makes you feel that you can’t really explore the game as there is a frigging times ticking away at the bottom.

Any way. I Love it. It’s not changed to much. The graphics are a little more cartoon like, but still look clean and fresh.

Being able to move jumps, raps ect around is going to be great fun, as there was nothing more annoying in Skate when you could see a great line, but were a few feet of being able to reach it.

It is a defiant purchase for me next week, and then possible divorce proceedings to follow as I won’t be seeing my wife for a few weeks!!!
