I am just wondering this. If one was to acquire a new router from BT as the one they have is broken, do BT charge if you do not return the broken one to them?

Anyone had any experiences on this?

I'd say they'll want it back. Ask them what to do with the old one, when you're requesting a new one. That's even if you can request a new one. They might want you to buy it, depending on your contract situation with them.

    Thanks for that jor_el.

I believe they will request that I return the broken one in freepost, but would like to know if there is a charge if it is not returned.

Thanks for your response to anyone who may have gone throught this already :)
