Sub-forum for swapping dvds?

Been thinking about this for a bit (as I've a load of dvds I'd rather not have but they'll hardly sell) and it seems like it'd be a decent idea to have a forum where we can organise dvd swaps. People could use www.dvdaf.com or whatever to put up their list. Then it's just a matter of checking out somebody's list and seeing if they have something you want. Obviously you'll have to have to have a dvd they're interested in also.

And obviously trust is a big factor here.

    Thoughts?

You could try the General Swap on adverts.ie here.

I think its a pretty good idea. I have a good few dvds that I dont really want in my collection...and a few dvds that I accidentally bought twice.

I'll sign up to that website you posted and make a list. If I put my entire collection up there, is there a way to flag the ones I want to swap ?

Interesting idea. Would probably need to be a subforum within adverts.ie though as opposed to here?

Will check out that dvdaf site though.

Great idea, we could swap DVDs and games there...much better then getting ripped of by trading in stuff....

There's also dvdprofiler.com (great piece of software you download) - enter upc number & it gets all the details. It used to be free, I think they charge for the Pro version now (100 + entries), but you can upload your collection.

I'll throw my backing behind this & offer to mod

Heres the majority of my collection. Have to figure out a way to flag the ones I'd be willing to trade though.

I don't think it'd work at adverts. Way more traffic here at boards. I'll check that now Tusky and I'll post mine in a bit.
