Has anybody heard any info about the big four summer internships? I know PWC have their application process open already but no sign at all from the other three. I wonder will there be much of a decrease in numbers being the year thats in it??

have sent my PWC application off today, but dont want to put all my eggs in one basket as they say!!:P

pwc and deloitte are open, I hear KPMG will be open later this month or March at the latest. Does anyone know are the internships paid? as much as I'd love to get the experience I cant afford to give up ten weeks of my summer for free!:)

Friends of mine interned at PwC and KPMG and they were all paid, reasonably well too.

I did an internship in KPMG, great experience and well worth doing if your relaively sure its what you want to do after college. Your more or less certain of a place in the milkround the following year.

And as for pay, I cant remeber the exact amount I got paid but its very reasonable considering your not qualified, think it works out at €18,000 per annum if you pro-rata it for how long you'll be there. Theres a good chance you'll get out of the office on job if your in any depatment but Tax, so you'll pick up a good bit in expenses that way aswell.
