Hi , does anyone know a company that should insure a 89 audi coupe 2.3 20v. as a second car for a 33 year old with 10 years no. claims on commercial vans but no cars. tried a few today but no joy, they said wouldnt insure an audi less it was older than 83.
Thanks, if I cant insure this I would be looking at a 1986 audi 80 sport..
    thanks.....

Why if the 1986 audi 80 sport is not pre 83 to satisfy the insurance co?

I'd second the AXA recommendation, they told me they accept cars over 20 yrs as classics.

Try Quinn Direct, no one would insure me in a 93 190e as it was more than ten years old and not old enough to be a classic, I couldn't believe it when I was ringing around, they actually do expect people to buy new cars!

last time I asked, shit direct wont insure you on anything over 20 years old
