What's the weirdest thing someone has told you about yourself?

I was with a friend at one of the those Mind, Body, Spirit fares which are totally not my scene but I'd never been so I decided to go along and keep an open mind. She roped me into doing one of those aura tests.

Anyway the picture came out with sort of a purple and deep pink around my head and body.

Then one of the guys there did an analysis on me and he told me a few different things including that I'm an indigo child whatever that is but the funniest thing he told me was this:

I have only lived one past life and that was on Atlantis.

I must admit to have nearly laughed outloud. No disrespect to anyone intended but that one through me for a loop.

    :o

Atlantis! Cool. I love reading about Atlantis and the pyramids!

Anyway they really did kinda narrow it down for you eh?!

The weirdest thing I guess was that I've healing hands! ;)

My dad's wife (stepmother but it's weird calling someone that!). She' into stuff like that somewhat. She held my hand once and got something from it - said she could feel something passing through to hers....

someone told me once that a "spirit" held them by the neck and stretched it out about 2 foot. Needless to say, we made our paranormal excuses got our coats and left.

Thread title: What's the weirdest thing someone has told you about yourself?

Anyway 12 years ago I was stopped by a lovely old woman on Talbot St. and told that in a past life I was with the woman I am with now. She said that I was a blacksmith and my (now) wife was a school teacher. The woman didnt look crazy.

:D only noticed the title after posting.

The weirdest thing someone told me about myself, mmmm

I was told by a woman once I am an angel walking the earth and I was told a few times over the past year by a couple of different people that I am going to be a pioneer for spirit in Ireland.

I'm not doubting you, but notice how people, guys, were always blacksmiths in past lives! :D

Weirdest thing I was told was that I'd marry and have at least one brat. *vomit*

If you knew me personally, you'd understand why that's a weird thing to say to me.

I've been told by several people I know, that I am the Anti-Christ. :D

On a more, uh, esoteric level, I was told that sh!te about being an 'Indigo child' as well.

She said my energy was vibrating at such a fast level, it made me "years ahead" of non-Indigo children in my thinking and that I had a hyper-sensitive nervous system.

I don't believe in that concept at all. There isn't any evidence to support that quackery. It's just a cash cow created by Jan Tober, Doreen Virtue and all those other paper-chasing prats when they knew they could make more money out of spinning those tall tales than listening wearily to their clients' woes in their psychology/psychotherapy practices day-in, day-out.

What was weirder though is that at the time I was studying sculpture and working on welding and metalwork.

I was at work at a cafe on Burgh Quay in Dublin a few years ago, sitting on my break in an absolutely foul humour. This lady approached me and asked me if I would mind not having such 'loud angry thoughts' she then told me that what I was angry about would turn out to be a misunderstanding so there was no point getting so worked up about it, she was right.

God, that is so random and weird. Kinda cool, though. Either the irate expression on your face gave the game away or that lady was some sort of telepath.

    Spooky! :D;)

Ah, but Bundy didn't walk around with that expression on his face in most of his day-to-day life! That outburst in the photo above was during a high pressured court case.. :p

Ive been told that I'm a very old soul, that I'v had terrible past lives, murdered every which way,

In the last one , I was buried alive, that I once lived in egypt, and thats why I'm afraid of cats , must have gobbled up by one and that I was a witch doctor.

But that I was going to live to be very old in this one, glad theres some good news!
