    Ryan Air fly into Ciampino
    AerLingus fly into Davinci

Anyone any experience of either/both airports - which is handier to Rome? Ryan Air flight is cheaper, but dont want to spend 2 hours on a commuter bus to get me to Rome after landing on the outskirts of Venice (you know the way the boys in Ryan Air are). Also how much is that commuter bus....

    Thanks,
    Muppet Man

If you look back a couple of pages, someone asked about the airports last week! I've only been to Da Vinci, there's the Leonardo Express that goes from the airport to Termini Station in Rome, it takes about 30 mins and was about €11 or so (one way, I flew home from another city) last year. If you google the names of the airports their own sites should give you info on getting to and from them.

It's much of a muchness really, cost, transfer time, etc. Only real difference is that seeing you can get a train to Fiumicino, there's no issue of possibly being delayed in traffic at peak times.
